Rendu à Manaus - Finally Manaus

Nous sommes finalement rendus à Manaus au Brésil…Il nous a fallu 30 heures pour se rendre dont 9 heures d’attente à São Paulo. L’envolée de São Paulo à Manaus dure 3 h 30, un peu plus que la moitié du temps pour se rendre d’Ottawa en Europe…C’est là qu’on s’aperçoit de l’immensité de ce pays. Une petite journée en perspective aujourd’hui…Un lever assez tard par nos standards…quelques heures de plus que d’habitude lorsque qu’Ana et Sheena se servent de nous comme un autoroute le matin pour se faire nourrir…Nous venons de visiter le centre-ville de Manaus qui est fameux pour sa maison de l’Opéra…Nous embarquerons sur le IberoStar vers 15 h pour notre excursion sur la rivière Amazone…Pas trop de plainte du Sherpa jusqu'à date...Je lui ai fournit un iPad et ellse se garde occupée...À la prochaine!

We are finally in Manaus, Brazil…It took 30 hours to get here, 9 of which were waiting for our flight in Sao Paulo. The flight from Sao Paulo to Manaus takes 3 ½ hours which is more than half the time it takes to go from Ottawa to Europe…It makes you appreciate the size of this country…We got up pretty late by our standards…a few more hours than when we’re at home and Ana and Sheena use us as a highway in the morning to let us know they’re hungry…We just came back from a short visit downtown Manaus which is famous for it’s Opera House…We will board the IberoStar around 3 PM for our excursion on the Amazon…Not too much complaint from the Sherpa...I supplied her with an iPad and she's keeping busy...Talk to you later!
