En bon canadien français, j’ai pas faite grand-chose après-midi…le sherpa se disant fatigué d’avoir trop lu, a décidé de faire une sieste…les mauvaises habitudes des îles Galápagos sont toujours présentes…j’ai profité du fait que nous avions le bateau à nous seuls jusqu’à 3 h, pour relaxer…comme il n’y avait pas de nature sauvage dans le port de Manaus, je dû me servir du peu de créativité que j’ai pour faire ressortir ce que la scène m’offrait…petits oiseaux locaux, nature morte, journaliers…c’est bien pour dire ce qu’on peut trouver du pont d’un bateau…le bateau à laisser le port vers 6 h pm en direction de Rio Solimões (rivière Amazone)…À la prochaine!
Didn’t do a whole lot this afternoon…my Sherpa, tired of reading too much, decided that she needed a siesta…the bad habits form the Galapagos are still present…I took advantage of the fact that we had the boat to ourselves until 3 PM to relax…since there wasn’t any wildlife in the Manaus harbor, I had to use the little bit of creativity I have to make the best out of what was offered to me…small local birds, local workers, still life, you name it I shot it…pretty surprising what you can find to shoot from the upper deck of a ship…good thing I was shooting my camera and not skeet shooting (that one is for Dave)…The ship left around 6 PM for the Rio Solimões (Amazon River)…Talk to you later!
