Un autre superbe lever de soleil ce matin…à 9 h, comme tous les matins il faisait environ 35 degrés Celsius…comme je l’avais expliqué hier, le IBEROSTAR Grand Amazon s’est positionné à la jonction des deux rivières, le Rio Negro (eau noire et acide) et l’Amazone (eau beige)…la rivière Amazone est aussi connue sous le nom de Rio Solimões…c’est assez intéressant d’observer ce phénomène naturel…la température et la densité des eaux de chaque rivière à pour conséquence qu’il faut plus de 6 km pour que les eaux des rivières se mélangent…la séparation est très visible…après le spectacle nous sommes retournés à Manaus…il semble que tous les passagers du Grand Amazon, sauf Monique et moi, ne faisaient que la 1e partie du voyage…donc jusqu’à 3 h cet après-midi, nous avons le bateau à nous seuls…le bateau vient équipé avec un barman privé, un chef privé et toutes sortes d’autres affaires privées jusqu’à 3 h…les Bloody Mary sont pas mal bon…ah oui…j’oubliais la piscine privée, où je m’en vais me saucer, tout de suite après avoir sauvé ma filière…À la prochaine!

One great sunrise after another…that’s what we woke up to this morning…like every other morning this week, it was about 35 Celsius at 9 AM…as I explained yesterday, the IBEROSTAR Grand Amazon positioned itself at the merging of the 2 rivers, the Rio Negro (black acidic water) and the Amazon River (caramel coloured water)…the Amazon is also known by another name in Brazil, the Rio Solimões…it’s pretty cool to observe this natural phenomenon…water temperature and density prevent the waters from mixing at the junction…it takes about 6 km for the waters to mix…the divide is very visible…after the show we headed back to Manaus…it appears that Monique and I are the only 2 people to continue on the second half of the trip…so until 3 PM, we have the ship to ourselves…personal bar tender, personal chef and a whole bunch of other personal things…The Bloody Marys are pretty good…oh and I forgot…private swimming pool…will be jumping into it as soon as I save this file…Talk to you later!
